Community Bulletin Board Policies

1. Your Community Bulletin Board (CBB) announcement needs to be submitted atleast 14 days prior to the time you would like the announcement to appear on our televised CBB. Otherwise, staff cannot guarantee that your announcement will appear on time.

2. Messages shall run for no longer than a three-week period.

3. No commercial announcements, advertising, or direct appeals for funds will be accepted.

4. As producer of record, ACMI reserves the right, at its discretion, to or edit or reject any announcement. Neither ACMI, nor its Board of Staff are responsible for any mistakes submitted via this form for cablecast on the ACMI CBB.

5. Messages may be submitted by ACMI members, municipal departments of the Town of Arlington, Arlington-based nonprofit organizations, and Arlington residents. Nonprofit organizations from outside Arlington, Massachusetts may also submit announcements through a sponsoring Arlington resident. 

Basic Parameters for a clear and visible anouncement:

Community Bulletin Board announcements must be submitted via email to CBB@arlingtonstudio.com as JPEG files in a landscape format. These files can be created using a variety of software tools, including Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint. Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a CBB slide, using Microsoft PowerPoint, that will be easily readable on our ACMI channels.
